About this perfume

Grapefruit opens it bright and slightly bitter, immediately met by a marine accord that reads more like clean skin than seawater. Bay leaf and hedione keep the middle airy rather than sweet. The base is where it holds: ambergris, salty and faintly animalic, laid over guaiac wood, patchouli and oakmoss. Four perfumers worked on it, and the result is engineered to be liked rather than admired.
